Abstract:
To increase probability in which position information can be imparted to a captured image in an imaging device having a radio communication function without complicating the structure of the device.SOLUTION: An imaging device having a radio communication function comprises: setting means for switching role of the imaging device to a role of receiving a beacon when radio connection with an external device is not established; receiving means for receiving the position information of the external device when set to the role of transmitting the beacon and receiving the beacon including the position information of a transmission source when set to the role of receiving the beacon; and imparting means for imparting the position information of the imaging device which is specified based on the received position information to the image obtained by the imaging means when the receiving means receives the position information and for imparting the position information of the imaging device which is specified based on the position information included in the received beacon to the image when the receiving means receives the beacon.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
