Abstract:
To provide a water absorption inhibitor excellent in concrete permeability, water permeation inhibition after coating, and storage stability.SOLUTION: A water absorption inhibitor contains a silane composed of monoalkyltrialkoxysilane and/or dialkyldialkoxysilane (a), and a resin with a weight average molecular weight of 5000-1000000 (b). An alkyl group in the monoalkyltrialkoxysilane is a C4-20 alkyl group. At least one alkyl group in the dialkyldialkoxysilane is a C4-20 alkyl group. In the water absorption inhibitor, the contents of the silane (a) is 90-99.9 mass% and the resin (b) is 0.01-10 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
