Abstract:
To prevent breakdown of each wave guide due to contact, while increasing rotation range of the body of rotation.SOLUTION: A joint device 1 includes multiple rotary wave guides 11, 12 attached to a body of rotation and rotating integrally therewith, multiple fixed wave guides 13, 14 attached to a solid body, and a relay waveguide 15 forming a communication path between the rotary wave guide 12 and the fixed wave guide 14. The joint device 1 also includes joint parts 16, 17, 18 for connecting any two wave guides, out of the rotary wave guides 11, 12, the fixed wave guides 13, 14, and the relay waveguide 15. The joint device 1 further includes a first gear mechanism 19 for transmitting rotation of the body of rotation to the relay waveguide 15. Revolution speed of the relay waveguide 15 is smaller than the revolution speed of the body of rotation. The relay waveguide 15 has a shape detouring the joint part 16, located between two joint parts 17, 18 connected with the relay waveguide 15, in the radial direction for the revolving shaft of the body of rotation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
