Abstract:
To provide a method for repairing a mold and a repairable mold, which do not significantly increase cost even in a case where a mold used for production of a Ni-based alloy high temperature member is damaged.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for repairing a Ni-based alloy mold. The mold has a composition in which 10% by volume or more of a γ'phase is precipitated at 1050°C. A solid dissolution temperature of the γ'phase is 1050 to 1250°C. The γ'phase has two type of precipitation modes of intragranular γ'phase crystal grain which is precipitated in a crystal grain of γ phase of a parent phase and intragranular γ'phase crystal grain which is precipitated between crystal grains of the γ phase. The mold is composed of a strongly precipitated reinforced Ni-based superalloy in which the intragranular γ'phase crystal grain is precipitated by 10% by volume or more. The method includes a step of performing a softening heating treatment where the mold having damage is heated to a temperature of 1000°C or more and less than solid dissolution temperature of the γ'phase so as to reduce the intragranular γ'phase crystal grain, and then cooled to 500°C so as to grow the intragranular γ'phase crystal grain, a step of performing molding process for shape-correcting to the mold subjected to the softening heating treatment, and a step of performing partial solutionization/aging treatment to the shape-corrected mold where the intragranular γ'phase crystal grain is precipitated while keeping remained intragranular γ'phase crystal grain of 10% by volume or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
