Abstract:
To provide a lever type connector which improves an operational feeling of an operation of rotating a lever.SOLUTION: A lever type connector 1 comprises: first and second housings 100 and 200 that can be fitted to each other; and a lever 300 which is mounted on a rotary shaft 208 of the second housing 200 and is rotatable from a fitting start position to a fitting completion position around the rotary shaft 208. The first housing 100 includes a cam boss 107 which is moved in a fitting direction together with the first housing 100 during fitting. The lever 300 includes a cam groove 306 in which the cam boss 107 can be received, and is moved from the fitting start position to the fitting completion position while moving the cam boss 107 along the cam groove 306 during the fitting. The rotary shaft 208 includes a recess 208a in a region that is different from a region in which the lever 300 presses a side face of the rotary shaft 208 because of a reaction force that the lever 300 receives from the cam boss 107 when the lever 300 is to move the cam boss 107, on the side face of the rotary shaft 208.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
