To provide a cooker capable of preventing a container unit mounting state to be detected erroneously.SOLUTION: A cooker equipped with a heating unit having a mounting surface, which is provided with a heating coil, and a container unit having a container to be heated, which is heated by the heating coil includes: a detected part provided in the container unit for causing a heating unit side to detect that the container unit is mounted on a mounting surface of the heating unit; and a mounting detection part provided on a surface different from the mounting surface of the heating unit for detecting that the container unit is mounted when the detected part is positioned at an opposed position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
