Abstract:
To provide a recording device which can suppress deterioration in through-put, even if it is necessary to stop and dry a plurality of recording media to which is discharged liquid in a conveyance path when performing recording continuously on the recording media.SOLUTION: A control portion 1c of a printer 1, if it is necessary to stop and dry a plurality of papers P to which is discharged ink in a conveyance path R when performing recording continuously on the papers P, controls a conveyance portion 40 so that two papers P can be stopped simultaneously in the conveyance path R in order to be dried. The control portion 1c stops the n-th paper Pn in a state where at least part of the paper remains in a switch back path R3, and stops the n+1st paper Pn+1 in a state where at least part of the paper remains in a downstream path R2, when at least part of the paper Pn remains in the switch back path R3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
