Abstract:
To provide a walking type control machine which immediately stops a machine body when an obstacle exists behind the machine body, during rearward traveling of the machine body.SOLUTION: A walking type control machine comprises: an engine; a left and right pair of travel wheels; a handle (9) extending rearward to the left and right from a front part; and a transmission case (1) incorporating a transmission mechanism for transmitting drive force from the engine to the travel wheels. In addition, an ultrasonic sensor for detecting a distance to an obstacle existing behind a machine body is disposed at a rear part of the machine body, and a motor 11c is disposed on a base part of a clutch lever (11). During rearward traveling of the machine body, when the ultrasonic sensor detects that a distance between the machine body and the obstacle behind the machine body is shorter than a predetermined value L0, a control device 100 drives the motor 11c and sets the clutch lever 11 into an off position. In the walking type control machine, the ultrasonic sensor is disposed at a rear end part of a grip part of the handle 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
