Abstract:
To provide a thermoelectric element capable of achieving little resistance increase even after long-term use under a high temperature.SOLUTION: The thermoelectric element includes: a thermoelectric conversion layer 1 formed from thermoelectric conversion material containing silicide or silicone; an electrode layer 2 formed from metal material provided on a surface of the thermoelectric conversion layer; a glassy layer 3 formed between the thermoelectric conversion layer 1 and the electrode layer 2; and a plurality of conduction parts 4 formed at a part of the glassy layer 3. The plurality of conduction parts 4 partially join the thermoelectric conversion layer 1 to the electrode layer 2 and are arranged to be scattered over the whole interface between the thermoelectric conversion layer 1 and the electrode layer 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
