Abstract:
To prevent deterioration in strength for locking a steering shaft.SOLUTION: A steering lock device 30 comprises an outer package 31 fixed to an outer pipe 25, a lock bolt 50 and a push-in member 60 arranged in the outer package 31. The lock bolt 50 can move to a lock position where rotation of a slide shaft 15 is restricted, to an unlock position where the restriction on the rotation of the slide shaft 15 is released and to a retreat position separated through a penetration hole 27 to the outside of the outer pipe 25. The push-in member 60 has a push-in part 61 that is brought into contact with the lock bolt 50 at the unlock position by pressing force from an inner pipe 23 to moves the lock body 50 to the retreat position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
