Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of achieving high versatility without increasing a size of a connector in an imaging apparatus which performs connection in accordance with USB standards.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a system control circuit A121 which detects whether or not an adaptor device 200 is electrically connected via a USB connector A108 conforming USB standards and also detects whether or not a first device and a second device for performing communication conforming at least two USB standards having different communication speeds to the adaptor device 200 are connected to each other when connection of the adaptor device 200 is detected: and a switch A122 which performs a process of changing a signal group to be assigned to respective terminals of the USB connector A108 in accordance with a detection result by the system control circuit A121.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
