Abstract:
To provide a reception device, a transmission device, and a transmission and reception device which stabilize operation even when it becomes multifunctional by an extra tuner or the like and reduce defects when outputting an alarm message or the like.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, a reception device comprises: a plurality of tuners; a CAS module which generates a scramble key for the plurality of tuners; a communication control part to receive communication service through a network; and a control part. The control part performs: control to allow the plurality of tuners to perform program selection; control of timing when the CAS module generates the scramble key; and control to allow the communication control part to acquire the communication service.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 25
