Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve aligning performance of sheets when receiving sheets to be discharged by a discharge tray without impairing appearance in a state where the discharge tray is stored.SOLUTION: The sheet carrying device comprises: a device main body; a sheet supply port provided in the device main body; carrying means that carries a sheet supplied through the sheet supply port along a carrying passage; a discharge port through which the sheet is discharged from the device main body; a discharge tray 2 mounted thereon to be turnable to a position where the tray receives the sheet discharged through the discharge port; and a tray support part 131 that can move between a first position where the tray is stored in the device main body and a second position where the tray is pulled out toward a lower part of the discharge port. When the discharge tray is turned to the position where the tray receives the sheet, the discharge tray contacts the lower part of the discharge port when the tray support part is at the first position, and the discharge tray contacts the tray support part when the tray support part is at the second position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
