Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flange reinforcement structure and a reinforcement tool for a fire hydrant, capable of being simply attached even in a case where a holding portion of a flange is small, capable of being attached to the flange for reinforcement while efficiently transmitting fastening force to a flange connection portion and enabling downsizing with excellent workability, and capable of preventing looseness or falling after attachment while preventing deformation, to maintain strong holding force.SOLUTION: In a frame-shaped reinforcement tool body 10, provided is a space part into which a flange projection region for connection is interpolated in a lateral direction. In the space part, a presser member 12 configured to press the periphery of a bolt 3 for connecting the flange projection region is provided in a liftable manner. In the reinforcement tool body 10, provided is a fastening bolt 13 configured to press the presser member 12 coaxially. With fastening of the fastening bolt 13, the flange projection region is fastened and fixed between the presser member 12 and an opposite surface 14 of the reinforcement tool body 10 opposite to the presser member 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
