Abstract:
To provide a remaining life assessment method of an insulation tape capable of accurately assessing the remaining life of the insulation tape.SOLUTION: The remaining life assessment method of an insulation tape includes the steps of: preparing a new first insulation tape and a used first insulation tape; measuring an oxidation start temperature Tof the first insulation tape; plotting points in which (x,y)=(actual use time, oxidation start temperature T) is satisfied on the first insulation tape, and determining a calibration curve showing the relationship between the points; calculating the life of the insulation tape; and calculating the remaining life of a second insulation tape that is used in an environment same as that of the first insulation tape and has a specification same as that of the first insulation tape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
