Abstract:
To provide an excellent toner binder which satisfies all of grindability, image intensity, heat resistant storage stability, charge stability, glossiness and durability while maintaining low-temperature fixability and hot offset resistance.SOLUTION: The toner binder includes a crystalline vinyl resin (A) using a monomer (a) and a monomer (b) as an essential constituent monomer, where (a) is a C20-36 (meth)acrylate having a linear hydrocarbon group, (b) is a C6 or less monomer having a vinyl group, a weight ratio of (b) in monomers constituting (A) is 7 wt.% or more based on the weight of (A), a content ratio of (A) is 6.1 wt.% or more based on the weight of the toner binder, the toner binder includes 150-50,000 ppm of (a), and a peak top temperature (Tm) of the endothermic peak of the toner binder is 40-100°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
