Abstract:
Disclosed is a washing machine, comprising a box body (1); a washing drum (2); a mounting plate (4) arranged at a lower part of the washing drum (2), wherein the mounting plate (4) is connected to the box body (1) via a vibration-reduction component, and the washing drum (2), as a water containing drum, can rotate relative to the mounting plate; a sunken-type water collection structure (18) arranged between an outer edge of the mounting plate (4) and the box body (1), wherein one side of the water collection structure (18) is hermetically connected to an inner wall of the box body (1) so as to collect washing water flowing down along the inner wall of the box body(1); and a secondary water outlet (17) arranged at the bottom of the water collection structure (18), wherein the secondary water outlet (17) communicates with the outside of the washing machine. An outer drum structure is omitted in the above-mentioned washing machine, and thus the aim of enlarging capacity of the washing machine is achieved. Moreover, the problem of a short circuit of the washing machine caused by splashed washing water is avoided and the service life of the washing machine is effectively prolonged.
