Abstract:
This outdoor unit of an air conditioner is provided with a fixing mechanism for fixing a blower device to a housing. The fixing mechanism is provided with a base part fixed to the housing, and a motor supporting part on which the blower device is attached and which is fixed to the base part with male screws that are screwed into a plurality of screw fixing parts of the base part. When a first direction is a lateral direction which is the juxtaposition direction of the blower device and a heat exchanger, the motor supporting part has a pair of leg parts that extend in the first direction, and each of the leg parts has at least one opening into which the male screws are inserted. Each of the openings is provided with a long hole part that extends in the first direction, and a recessed part that is formed as a notch that extends upward from the long hole part. While the motor supporting part is fixed to the base part, at least two of the plurality of openings are disposed in different positions in the vertical direction while each of the male screws are inserted into the recessed part of the openings.
