Abstract:
To provide novel inhibitors of TNF-α and IL-6 gene expression caused by exercise induced skeletal muscle injury.SOLUTION: Disclosed herein are: (1) a TNF-α gene expression inhibitor comprising an extract of black ginger (Kaempferia parviflora) as an effective ingredient; (2) an IL-6 gene expression inhibitor comprising an extract of black ginger as an effective ingredient; (3) an inhibitor of muscle inflammation caused by exercise induced skeletal muscle injury comprising the inhibitor of (1) or (2) as an effective ingredient; (4) a muscle pain ameliorating agent comprising one of the inhibitors (1) to (3) as an effective ingredient; and (5) a muscle fatigue ameliorating agent comprising one of the inhibitors (1) to (3) as an effective ingredient.SELECTED DRAWING: None
