Abstract:
To properly generate three-dimensional data with higher accuracy.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional data generation apparatus for generating three-dimensional data representing a three-dimensional shape and color of a three-dimensional object includes a light sources 206, a camera 204, a light source control unit 208, and an imaging control unit 210. The imaging control unit 210 controls the camera 204 to capture a light-source adjustment image and three-dimensional data generation image. At least in capturing a light-source adjustment image, the imaging control unit 210 controls the camera 204 to capture a light-source adjustment image while arranging color samples around an object. The light source control unit 208 determines irradiation settings for how the light is irradiated by the light source 206 in capturing a three-dimensional data generation image, on the basis of the color samples in the light source adjustment image, and controls the light source 206 to irradiate the object with light on the basis of the irradiation settings in imaging the three-dimensional data generation image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
