Abstract:
To provide a coil component decreased in core loss.SOLUTION: A coil component comprises a base including nanocrystal soft magnetic alloy particles, and an internal conductor disposed in the base, of which both ends are exposed from the surface of the base. The base is arranged so that in any two particles of the nanocrystal soft magnetic alloy particles included therein, the average crystal size difference of nanocrystal present in each particle is 50% of the average crystal size or smaller. In a process of manufacturing the coil component, when performing a thermal treatment on a coil component precursor, both the ends of the internal conductor or its precursor are exposed from the surface thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
