Abstract:
To make it possible to rapidly change conditions for producing a glass fiber.SOLUTION: An apparatus 1 for producing a glass fiber includes: a feeder 3 which circulates a molten glass 2; a bushing 4 in which a nozzle hole 6 is provided and which is arranged below the feeder 3; and a pipe 5 for connecting the feeder 3 and the bushing 4, wherein the apparatus produces the glass fiber 2f by discharging, from a nozzle hole 6, the molten glass 2 fed from the feeder 3 through the pipe 5 to the bushing 4, in a state where a flow passage from the feeder 3 to the nozzle hole 6 of the bushing 4 is filled with the molten glass 2. In the apparatus for producing the glass fiber, the pipe 5 includes: a first pipe 5a connected to the feeder 3; and a second pipe 5b connected to the bushing 4, wherein the pipe is configured such that a relative position in a vertical direction can be changed between the first pipe 5a and the second pipe 5b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
