Abstract:
To provide a folding and supply apparatus that supplies to a predetermined position an accumulated product in which sheet-shaped articles are stacked and folded in half.CONSTITUTION: The folding and supply apparatus of the present invention includes: a folding and transporting apparatus 12 that transports an accumulated product 2; and a second transfer robot 15 for lifting and transferring the accumulated product that has reached a carry-out site of the transporting apparatus. A transporting surface of the transporting apparatus is formed in a mountain-shape in a cross section of an orthogonal direction to a transporting direction, an apex portion 43 of the mountain-shape increases gradually in height toward a downstream side in the transporting direction, and an angle formed by inclined surfaces 45 on left and right sides of the apex portion becomes smaller toward the downstream side. Therefore, the accumulated product pushed by a feed finger 34 is folded in a mountain shape along the transporting surface. The second transfer robot supports and lifts by lifting hook portion 52 the folded accumulated product, at an opposite position to the apex portion and transfers it to a predetermined location in a state where the accumulated product is folded in half at the supported position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
