Abstract:
To provide a folding structure for casters, that allows the casters to be stored on the lower face of a cargo bed, and a hand cart provided with the same.SOLUTION: A folding structure for casters allowing casters 4a and 4b installed at four corners on a lower face of a cargo bed 2 to be folded and stored by rotating operation of a handle 3 installed on an upper face of the cargo bed 2 of a hand cart 1 is provided with: supporting shafts 30 installed on the lower face of the cargo bed 2 in the front and back direction; cylindrical bodies 32 inserted to the supporting shafts 30 slidably in the shaft direction and the circumferential direction, and to which the casters 4 are attached; energizing means installed on a front side of the supporting shafts 30 so as to energize the cylindrical bodies 32 backward; first cam means for moving the cylindrical bodies backward along the supporting shafts 30 by the energizing means with the rotating operation that tilts the handle 3; and second cam means for rotating the cylindrical bodies 32 by the movement of the cylindrical bodies 32 to fold and store the casters 4 on the lower face of the cargo bed 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
