Abstract:
To provide a signal transmission method and a network device that reduce computational complexity of a terminal device, reduce detection time, and save power consumption.SOLUTION: A method in a communication system includes transmitting a first synchronous signal block which is any one synchronous signal block of a plurality of synchronous signal blocks having different time sequences in a first cycle to a terminal device, and transmitting indication information indicating the number of time domain units of an interval between any one synchronous signal block of the plurality of synchronous signal blocks and the first synchronous signal block to the terminal device via a primary carrier wave. The indication information is used for the terminal device to determine the time sequence of each synchronous signal block based on the time sequence in the first cycle of the first synchronous signal block and the number of time domain units. The method further includes transmitting the plurality of synchronous signal blocks to the terminal device based on the time sequence in the first cycle of each synchronous signal block.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
