Abstract:
To provide a sheet conveying device that can easily make use of a plurality of external feeding units having sheet ejection ports different in height from each other.SOLUTION: A sheet conveying device 50 comprises: a first conveyance path T1 through which a sheet fed from a feeding unit inside a device main body is conveyed; a second conveyance path T2 through which a sheet fed from a feeding unit outside the device main body is conveyed; and a merging path T3 at which the first conveyance path T1 and the second conveyance path T2 merge. The sheet conveying device includes a first conveying unit 50a that has the first conveyance path T1 and the merging path T3, and a second conveying unit 50b that is attached to the first conveying unit 50a and has the second conveyance path T2. The first conveying unit 50a is attached to a drawer unit that can be drawn from the device main body, and in a state where the drawer unit is drawn, the second conveying unit 50b can be removed from the first conveying unit 50a without removing the first conveying unit 50a from the drawer unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
