Abstract:

To provide an insulator mount type snatch block device which can be easily and firmly fixed onto a clamp insulator, and enable quick progression of wire replacement construction.SOLUTION: A snatch block device 1 grips a cap part 54 with gripping members 8 and 9 of a clamp body 2 to be fixed to an insulator 51. A metal wheel main body 3 having four rollers 4, 5, 6, and 7 supported in a lattice manner on side frame members 11 and 12 is supported to the clamp body 2 so as to freely stand up or lie down. Each gripping member 8 includes: an upper collar piece 8b along an upper face of the cap part 54 so as to be projected to an inner direction of an upper part; and a lower collar piece 8c fitted to an annular groove 53 so as to be projected to the inner direction of a lower part. A movable lateral roller 6 freely opens and closes upper end parts between the side frame members 11 and 12. An electric wire W extending the metal wheel main body 3 on the insulator 51 so as to stand up or lie down is attached to/detached from the insulator 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
