Abstract:
To provide a drive unit of a vehicle that drives a fluid pump and a parking lock mechanism by a single drive device, and controls these operations by normal/reverse rotations of the drive device.SOLUTION: A drive unit 1 of a vehicle is equipped with an electric motor 5 that can normally and reversely rotate to generate rotational power, a water pump 2 and an oil pump 3 driven by the electric motor 5, and a parking lock mechanism 4. Between the electric motor 5 and the water pump 2 and the oil pump 3, a one-way clutch 6 is provided, which transmits the rotational power of the electric motor 5 to the water pump 2 and the oil pump 3 only when the electric motor 5 is normally rotated. The water pump 2 and the oil pump 3 are configured to discharge a fluid only when the electric motor 5 is normally rotated, and is configured to release the fixing of the parking lock mechanism 4 when the electric motor 5 is normally rotated and to fix the parking lock mechanism 4 when the electric motor 5 is reversely rotated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
