Abstract:
To provide a releasability evaluation method for rubber capable of simply and efficiently grasping a change with time in releasability when repeatedly releasing rubber from a mold for vulcanization; and to provide an apparatus.SOLUTION: In a releasability evaluation method for rubber, a pulling step is performed in the following manner: after an unvulcanized rubber 9A is heated with use of a heating mechanism 11 in the state of being pressed on a predetermined area of a flat object surface 8a of a base 8 and a small test piece 9 in close contact with the object surface 8a without adhesion thereto is formed, with use of a pulling mechanism 2, the test piece 9 and the base 8 are released from each other by making at least either of them move in a direction in which they are separated from each other, and then by, at one time, giving a tensile force in a vertical direction to the whole contact surface with the object surface 8a of the test piece 9. A series of processes from the formation of the test piece 9 to the completion of the pulling step without changing the position of the predetermined area of the object surface 8a is repeated to form a great number of the test pieces 9, and the surface state of the predetermined area of the object surface 8a after the pulling step with respect to each test piece 9 is grasped by surface grasping means 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
