Abstract:
To provide a detector capable of quickly determining a fire.SOLUTION: A detector 100 includes: a detection space 4 into which smoke to be detected flows in; a light emitting unit 72 and a light receiving unit 73 which are detection means for detecting the smoke to be detected that has flowed into the detection space 4; a housing 3 that accommodates the light emitting unit 72 and the light receiving unit 73 which are detection means, and the detection space 4; and air flow generating means which is provided inside the housing 3, for generating an airflow from the outside of the housing 3 toward the detection space 4 inside the housing 3 in order to promote the inflow of smoke to be detected into the detection space 4. The airflow generating means includes a pump for generating the airflow and a cooling body 8 that cools the inside of the housing 3 in order to generate the airflow.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
