Abstract:
To provide a moving object having a feature relating to a speed of the moving object that can move at a speed suitable for a surrounding condition and can achieve both high-speed movement and securement of safety.SOLUTION: A moving object 1 comprises: a sensor 11 that acquires ambient information; a storage unit 12 for storing learned elements that are a plurality of sets of learning results of training input information which is information around the moving object 1 and training output information which is a speed corresponding to the training input information; a speed acquisition unit 13 that applies ambient information to the learned element to acquire a speed; a current position acquisition unit 15; a moving mechanism 14; and a movement controller 17 that controls the moving mechanism 14 using a current position. The movement control unit 17 also controls a speed of the moving object 1 so as to be equal to or lower than the acquired speed. In this way, the moving object 1 can move at a speed suitable for the surrounding state, thereby, both high speed movement and securement of safety can be achieved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
