Abstract:
To provide a fitting capable of preventing a through-hole from forming between a glass and a top rail in a case of fire.SOLUTION: The fitting comprises a frame 1 and sashes 2 and 3. The frame 1 includes metal lift stop components 5 and 6 on a bottom face of an upper frame 4. An engagement between a top edge of a glass 7 and a glass holding groove 9 of a top rail 8 is kept even when stiles 24 and 25 become thermally elongated in the case of fire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
