Abstract:
To provide an insertion body of an endoscope whose structure can be simplified while stabilizing a bending motion.SOLUTION: An insertion part (insertion body) 3 of an endoscope 1 covers an outer side of a body tube part 9 with a covering part 11 and can be inserted to a subject. The body tube part 9 positions an inner coil part 15 having elasticity that can be bent and restored together with an outer coil part 13 in the outer coil part 13 having elasticity that can be bent and restored with respect to the coil-like axial direction. The outer coil part 13 has a plurality of gaps 13c separating wound parts 13b adjacent to each other in the axial direction. In the inner coil part 15, a wound part 15b is provided correspondingly to the gap 13b of the outer coil part 13 and fit between the wound parts 13b while contacting the adjacent wound parts 13b of the outer coil part 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
