Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and system for authenticating a user. In order to solve a problem examined above, the method for authenticating the user according to the present invention comprises: a step of sensing a face image of a target user using a camera; a step of extracting user information corresponding to the face image from a user DB; and a step of performing user authentication for the target user using the user information, wherein in the step of performing user authentication, it is determined whether or not to complete the user authentication based on a gesture of the target user sensed through the camera.
