Abstract:
To provide a lower arm for a vehicle that can be improved in bending rigidity in the vicinity of a support part for a steering knuckle.SOLUTION: A lower arm A comprises a main plate 10 having a main surface 10A pointing to an upper side of a vehicle, a first attachment part 31 and a second attachment part 32 that are attached to a vehicle body, and a support part 33 that supports a steering knuckle. The main plate 10 has grooves 11 recessed from the main surface 10A toward a lower side of the vehicle and extended from the support part 33 toward the second attachment part 32. The grooves 11 have: a first part 111 leading to the support part 33; a second part 112 positioned away from the first part 111 and extended from the vicinity of the first part 111 toward the second attachment part 32; and an intermediate part 113 leading to the first part 111 and to the second part 112. When viewed along a vertical direction of the vehicle, the intermediate part 113 is positioned closer to the support part 33 than a third virtual line VL3 and a depth of the intermediate part 113 is smaller than respective maximum lengths of the first part 111 and the second part 112.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
