Abstract:
To suppress occurrence of irregular conveyance in a conveying belt by suppressing generation of mist during flushing, in a negative pressure suction method.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device comprises: recording heads 11Y-11K having a plurality of nozzles which eject ink; an endless conveying belt 8 which conveys recording media to positions opposing to the recording heads; a negative pressure generating unit which generates negative pressure for suctioning the recording media through a suction hole of the conveying belt; and ink receiving portions 31Y-31K which are arranged to oppose to the recording heads through the conveying belt, and receive ink ejected from the recording heads and passed through opened portions of the conveying belt when the recording heads execute flushing. Suction force generated by negative pressure is stronger in non-opposing sections E2 at an upstream side or a downstream side in a conveying direction of the recording media with respect to opposing sections E1 than in the opposing sections in which the recording heads oppose to the ink receiving portions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
