Abstract:
A vibration device (20) comprises: a flat plate-shaped vibration part (24); a piezoelectric film (26) that is connected to the vibration part (24); a fixed part (22) that is connected to the piezoelectric film (26); and a linking part (28a, 28b) that links the vibration part (24) with the fixed part (22), and is displaceable by elastic deformation in a plane direction. The piezoelectric film (26), in a tensioned state, bridges the vibration part (24) and the fixed part (22), the vibration part (24) is connected to an operation object (4) on which a user performs a pressing operation, and the piezoelectric film (26) is caused to stretch and contract by the pressing operation on the operation object (4). The vibration device (20) comprises a control part (50) that detects an electric signal generated in the piezoelectric film (26) by the pressing operation, and vibrates the piezoelectric film (26) in the plane direction by applying the electric signal to the piezoelectric film (26).
