Abstract:
To provide a small laser light source that emits a laser beam substantially parallel to a mounting surface.SOLUTION: A laser light source includes a substrate 10 having a mounting surface of 10s, a semiconductor laser element 20 that is mounted on the mounting surface of the substrate and emits laser light along the mounting surface, and a housing 30 that is fixed to the mounting surface of the substrate, and has a side wall portion 30w through which the laser light is transmitted, and the side wall portion has an inner surface region 30si on which the laser beam is incident and an outer surface region 30so on which the laser beam is emitted, and the inner surface region and the outer surface region are inclined inward of the housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
