Abstract:
To provide a pressure detection device which allows for suppression of decrease in the accuracy of attachment thereof to a measurement object.SOLUTION: The pressure detection device comprises: a diaphragm head 32 provided at the distal end of a piezoelectric element and receiving pressure from a combustion chamber provided in an internal combustion engine; and a buffering mechanism unit 80 which is arranged on the distal end of the diaphragm head 32, lowers the temperature of gases (combustion gas and unburned gas) supplied from the combustion chamber and supplies these gases to the diaphragm head 32. The buffering mechanism unit 80 includes a first buffer member 81 in which a plurality of through-holes 816 for passing gases through is formed, and a second buffer member 82 which is arranged at the rear end of the first buffer member 81 and at the distal end of the diaphragm head 32, and connects these first buffer member 81 and diaphragm head 32 to each other, with a space provided between the first and second buffer members 81, 82.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
