Abstract:
To efficiently extract words required by a user by targeting a document of a specific field.SOLUTION: An electronic dictionary 10 includes specific field dictionary data 12d in which each of a plurality of words extracted from document data belonging to a specific field is defined as an entry word, and information including related words as words whose relevance degree with the entry word is determined to be a predetermined value or more in the document data belonging to the specific field is stored so as to be associated with each of the plurality of entry words. A CPU 11 retrieves the information associated with the designated entry word from the specific field dictionary data 12d, and displays the retrieved information including the related words.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
