Abstract:
To provide a simple method for improving the rust resistance of a directional electromagnetic steel sheet having a boric acid aluminum coating.SOLUTION: A directional electromagnetic steel includes a steel sheet, an intermediate layer provided on a surface of the steel sheet and mainly composed of forsterite, and a boric acid aluminum coating provided on a surface of the intermediate layer. A phosphate coating including iron phosphate and having a coating weight of 0.003-0.300 g/m2 exists within the intermediate layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
