Abstract:
To provide a cake blow method that switches to reverse blow when detecting that an air flow rate passing through a cake during normal blow starts increasing.SOLUTION: A cake blow method of a filter press performs normal blow for removing moisture in a cake generated in a filtering chamber 4 by supplying air from a raw liquid supplying side, and then performs reverse blow for removing moisture in the cake by supplying air from a filtrate discharging side. In the cake blow method of the filter press, a reference change rate H0 of an air flow rate is set in advance, and a reference flow rate Q0 of the air flow rate is set during the normal blow. By measuring the air flow rate, a change rate H with respect to the reference flow rate Q0 is calculated from a measured value Q. By switching to the reverse blow when the change rate H becomes the reference change rate H0 or more, air can be supplied into the cake in a short time during the reversed blow, so that an air supply flow rate can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
