Abstract:
To provide a reactor containment vent system capable of suppressing deterioration of a membrane filter by reducing the temperature of a vent gas passing through the membrane filter, which is a rare gas filter.SOLUTION: The reactor containment vent system is a reactor containment vent system for removing radioactive materials emitted from a reactor containment vessel 1 from a vent gas. The reactor containment vent system includes: a first isolation valve that is placed in a vent piping 13 connected to the reactor containment vessel to turn on and off the flow of vent gas; a temperature lowering means that is placed downstream of the first isolation valve to lower the temperature of the vent gas; and a membrane filter 15 that is placed at the downstream side of the temperature lowering means to block radioactive noble gases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
