Abstract:
To provide a control unit for a man-powered vehicle, which can appropriately control a transmission.SOLUTION: A control unit for a man-power vehicle includes a control part configured to control a ratio of a rotation speed of a driving wheel relative to a rotation speed of a crank of the man-power vehicle. The control part is configured to change a controlled state of the transmission from a first control state to a second control state in accordance with at least one of a man-power input to the man-powered vehicle, the orientation of a rider, the orientation of a vehicle body of the man-power vehicle, power applied to a handle of the man-power vehicle, and a running condition of the man-power vehicle. In the first control state, the transmission is controlled to change the ratio in accordance with operation of a transmission operation part, which can be operated by the rider to change the ratio. In the second operation state, the transmission is controlled regardless of the operation of the transmission operation part such that the ratio increases in accordance with at least one of a running condition of the man-powered vehicle and a running environment of the man-powered vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
