Abstract:
To simplify a configuration of a cooling device.SOLUTION: A cooling device cools a heating member (fixing belt 310) having a longitudinal direction with air. The cooling device has: a blower member (blower fan 430); an air duct 410 through which air passes, the air duct 410 having a first opening 411 to which air is supplied by the blower member, a second opening 412 opposite to one part of the heating member, and a third opening 413 opposite to the other part of the heating member; and an air volume variable mechanism (slide member 450) that can vary volume of air exhausted from the second and third openings.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5A
