Abstract:
Provided is an indwelling needle assembly having a novel structure, which can open, without providing a special member in an outer needle hub, a slit of an elastic valve body when a male connector is connected. In an indwelling needle assembly 10 in which an inner needle 18 is inserted through an elastic valve body 78 having a slit 82 mounted on an outer needle hub 22, an inner locking claw 52 and an outer locking claw 68 provided at a proximal end of the outer needle hub 22 are locked by an inner locking groove 88 and an outer locking groove 90 formed in an outer peripheral portion of the elastic valve body 78, and the elastic valve body 78 is radially compressed by at least one among the inner locking claw 52 and the outer locking claw 68.
