Abstract:

To provide a resin composition for optical film which suppresses expression of in-plane and out-of-plane phase differences of a cyclic olefin resin without impairing transparency and heat resistance.SOLUTION: A resin composition for optical material contains a cyclic olefin resin, and a polyester resin having a polyoxyalkylene glycol residue represented by the following formula (1) or the following formula (2). In the formulae (1) and (2), B1 represents a monocarboxylic acid residue. B2 represents an aliphatic monoalcohol residue. At least one of G is a divalent connection group including a polyoxyalkylene glycol residue. A represents a dicarboxylic acid residue.SELECTED DRAWING: None
