Abstract:
A racket, such as a badminton racket, includes a grip 4 having a rigidity gradient which enables energy accumulation in order to provide strong hitting force. The grip 4 has a flared tube 3a or a funnel-like part 5 which increases in diameter towards the rear end of the grip 4, said flared tube or funnel being covered by a foamed plastics material 41 covered by an outer cover 42 and causing the rigidity of the grip to increase towards the rear end of the grip 4.
