Abstract:
A hollow shaft comprises torque-transmitting components such as toothed wheels, cams, and similar. At least one component (20) has an oval opening which enables it to be applied over an outlet tube (12) having a wall of essentially the same thickness, at least one supporting body (20) being arranged between the tube (12) and each component (14) having an oval opening. In order to ensure interlocking and frictional engagement between the outlet tube (12) and the components (14), the outlet tube (12) is widened by internal pressure in such a way that one part of its circumference presses against the inner wall of the components (14) and that at least one other part of its circumference presses against the outer wall of the supporting bodies (20). Each supporting body (20) is designed as a separate component.
