Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0232460
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To control the engine speed to an optimal value with high response, by reducing or stopping generation of electricity in response to an output signal from a sensor when the engine speed has become lower than a set speed along with increasing of the load of a generator. CONSTITUTION:With an electric load connected in the state that an engine is in its normal idling operation, a generator is set into operation for generating electricity and the engine speed is lowered resultantly. Subsequently, when the engine speed becomes lower than a first set speed, the wave form of a signal produced from a signal generating circuit 26 is changed and a comparator 23 detects drop of the engine speed. At the same time, the time period when a G- terminal of a regulator R is grounded via a transistor 39 is increased, so that the generating power of the generator is lowered. Therefore, drop of the engine speed is avoided and the engine can be operated at a set speed in a stable manner.
